Original interview date was Wednesday, August 12. Congrats Kevin Christopher Riley on your election!

As part of our political coverage for the upcoming 2021 Citywide Elections, LittleAfrica BronxNews has launched our Meet The Candidate video interview series.

LittleAfrica BronxNews sat down with Kevin Christopher Riley, a city council candidate for District 12 in the Bronx.

For the past decade, Kevin has worked for the Speaker of the Assembly Carl E. Heastie, first as a Constituent Liaison and through his hard work he is now the Community Relations Director. In November 2016, Kevin was elected to become the District Leader of the 83rd Assembly district of the Bronx.

Learn more about Kevin’s amazing work as a mentor with President Barack Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper initiative, his work with The Dad Gang, and his non-profit, Music Over Violence, that utilizes our youth’s voice to fight back against the violence in our community.
