Attendees donated over 60 coats, ranging from new to gently used, in a spirited community effort to provide essential warmth for those facing economic hardship.
Assemblymember Dais emphasized the drive’s significance for the community, especially for his district’s vulnerable groups, such as seniors and families. “These coats, as minimal as they may seem, might be the difference in someone not getting sick or being able to go to work or school,” he said.
