Man stabbed in Brooklyn…

A 55-year-old man was stabbed at the Jay St. MetroTech Station in Downtown Brooklyn on Tuesday, July 5th. The victim’s name has not been released.

The 55-year-old man was attacked after entering the subway and “accidentally” bumping into another man on the platform. This inadvertent collision caused a disagreement, with the suspect threatening to harm the 55-year-old man. He was reportedly punched and then ultimately stabbed by the assailant.

According to reports, the victim was stabbed through the cheek and twice in the back. He was rushed to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where he was treated and is said to be in stable condition.

The suspect, believed to be in his 40s, was wearing a gray sweatshirt, dark jeans, and black boots at the time of the stabbing. The NYPD has released security footage from the station that shows the suspect walking through the station around 6:05 p.m.

He is suspected to be 6 feet tall and around 200-250 pounds. The surveillance footage shows the suspect wielding a large knife According to reports, the suspect ran from the crime scene and is currently on the loose at the time of reporting.

Major crimes have increased on the New York transit system by 52% in the same period when compared to last year according to statistics provided by the NYPD.

Specifically, stabbings have been on the rise in New York City. An unidentified 34-year-old man was discovered on a park bench in Manhattan on Tuesday, July 5.

According to the police, the man was found in Hudson River Park with a stab wound to his stomach. The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to reports, after a further investigation conducted by the NYPD, it was discovered that the man had been stabbed while he was sleeping on the bench. At the time of reporting, it is not evident what the motive for the crime was and no arrests have been made.

On Wednesday, July 6th, a 30-year-old man with serious stab wounds was discovered in his car by police officers. It is alleged that the victim was stabbed following a dispute in the Bronx.

After the incident, he managed to get into his vehicle but accidentally hit a pole as he tried to drive away. The victim died as a result of his stab wounds.

In another stabbing that took place in the Bronx, Raul Jose Santos is accused of stabbing his estranged wife, Ana Amadiz-Pena, to death while she was sleeping in her bed. Police reports say that Pena’s body was discovered around 2:30 pm on Tuesday, July 5th in her apartment on Grand Concourse near East 198th Street in Jerome Park.

The suspect, Santos, was arrested on the evening of the same day. He is facing charges of murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a weapon. According to the police, Santos has no history of crime and the couple had never had any reported domestic violence issues.

These incidents are further proof that major crimes continue to be a problem in New York City.
